This project was started by Zondelia Lombard-Swartz in 2014 while she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She sourced toiletries lovingly donated by friends and family, packaged it in pink boxes and bags and distributed it to breast cancer patients at Tygerberg Hospital. In celebrating the 6th year of this project, and in memory of Zonny who lost her fight to breast cancer on 8/09/2019, we would like to call on your support to enable us to extend the distribution of love boxes to include breast cancer patients at both Tygerberg & Paarl Hospitals

Cancer CAN be beaten……
Several people in my outer circle have been touched by cancer, but it never hits home as hard as when someone who is close to you has cancer. This year I will be running the Sanlam Marathon to honour all those that have lost their lives to cancer and for those that are fighting and winning the war against cancer. Support me on my 42,2 km journey as I try to raise funds for the Tygerberg breast cancer unit to make the burden of so many cancer sufferers a little bit lighter. My name is Vera Adams, an almost 50-year-old mother of two and I run because I CAN!
