This project was started by Zondelia Lombard-Swartz in 2014 while she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She sourced toiletries lovingly donated by friends and family, packaged it in pink boxes and bags and distributed it to breast cancer patients at Tygerberg Hospital. In celebrating the 6th year of this project, and in memory of Zonny who lost her fight to breast cancer on 8/09/2019, we would like to call on your support to enable us to extend the distribution of love boxes to include breast cancer patients at both Tygerberg & Paarl Hospitals

What gives me complete joy is getting involved in projects where my contribution makes a difference in people’s lives. I have always been at the forefront supporting cancer initiatives and I am thrilled to be a part of the team running the CT Sanlam Virtual 10km Run in Zonny’s memory on 18 October. Zonny dedicated her fight against breast cancer to the Tygerberg Hospital Breast Cancer Clinic through championing the Love Box project. We are running to raise funds to provide much needed resources for the clinic. I appeal to you to please support this initiative by contributing to this cause that will help make a difference in the lives of those fighting cancer. Let’s fight the fight together
