Over the past 30 years Elton has cycled from Cape Town to Knysna for 15 years!. The primary objective was to raise funds for various charities. This year he have chosen the Vuya Foundation whose core focus is building Early Childhood Centres in rural areas.
To date they have built 2 centres, namely: Oppikoppie – Prince Alfred Hamlet with150 children and a centre in Riebeek Kasteel with 80 children
20 Sept – Knysna to Oudtshoorn 111 kms
21 Sep – Oudtshoorn to Prince Albert and back – 224km
22 Sept – Oudtshoorn to Barrydale – 153km
23 Sept – Barrydale to Worcestor – 135km
24 Sept – Worcestor to Rieebeek kasteel – 150 km
25 Sept – Riebeek Kasteel to Cape Town – 132 km
Total : 925km
